Land and Lake

Phantom Lake is nestled in the woodsy hills of southeastern Wisconsin in Mukwonago. Seventy-two acres of beautiful Kettle Moraine, forest, marshland, native prairie and over one-half mile of shoreline on Upper Phantom Lake serve as our camp setting. The lake has five natural springs, and is part of the Mukwonago River Watershed. We call our enchanted woods the 'kettles' because of the kettle-like indents in the land.




Lodging

Tents: Our rustic platform tents bring the outdoors within reach. Each platform tent has 10-12 beds in each of them with screen sides, canvas flaps and no electricity. The tents are grouped with 3 or 4 other tents to form units. Each unit has its own campfire ring with seating around the fire.








Erich Lodge: This lodge is the lakeside dining hall that serves up to 180-200 people. Enjoy healthy meals with a salad bar. The sleeping quarters in the divided lower level contain bunk beds that can sleep up to 40 people per side including bathroom and showers. Sleeping quarters are available from October to April. The lower level also provides shelter incase of inclement weather.








Shared Facilities

Richardson Lodge: Thanks to an extremely generous donation from the Richardson family, the Health Lodge was renovated in spring 2009! Campers and Staff who need a little TLC will still be greeted by many familiar faces but they will now be cared for in a newly remodeled, state-of-the-art, air conditioned Health Lodge! The architectural charm of the building remains, but the functionality has been greatly improved.







Alford Lodge: This lodge is the hub of camp in the warmer seasons and offers two fireplaces and an outdoor porch. It houses the offices, camp store (Mercantile), costume shop, craft shop, photo dark room, stage and bathrooms with shower. The open space inside is ideal for activities such as talent shows, rainy day activities, gymnastics, aerobics, dance and four square.
